What Is the
Service Challenge?
The America250 in Idaho Service Challenge invites individuals, families, classrooms, businesses, faith groups, and communities to serve in ways big and small.
For this challenge, an “act of service” is defined as: Any intentional action that provides a meaningful benefit to others. Whether it takes five minutes or five hours, if it makes a difference, it counts!
Donate used books or clothing
Help take in your neighbor’s garbage bins
Pick up trash or litter along a trail
Does it count? Yes! Check out our latest GALLERY page!

Martha-Tot Washingtater
Martha-Tot Washingtater is here to remind us that service has always been an important part of America’s story.
She was inspired by Martha Washington, the nation’s first 1st Lady, whose selfless acts of service provided aid to the troops during the Revolutionary War.
You’ll see her popping up at events, parades, service projects,
and celebrations—cheering us on as we serve.
